Innocent Hearts School spreads a message on ‘Anti Tobacco Day’

Jalandhar, May 31, 2019: Four Schools ofInnocent Hearts,G.M.T., Loharan ,Cantt Jandiala Road and Royal World observed Anti Tobacco Day enthusiastically. A number of activities were organized to convey a message to stop the use of tobacco. Activities like Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Debate and Nukad Natika were organized where children showed their creativity. The skits emphasized on the harmful effects that tobacco has on the body of an individual. All the slogans and posters were depicting the the intake of this substance causes diseases like Cancer which can prove fatal. It leads to decrease in the appetite of a person and over the time mental ability also decreases. The students wrote slogans like ‘Smoking is injurious to health’, ‘Tobacco leads to Death’ and many more. The aim is to enable the children to pass on the message, “Intake of tobacco is an Invitation to cancer” among the students and to increase awareness in society. Finally the children took an oath not to take tobacco ever in their whole life and also encourage others in their neighbourhood not to do so.
