Innocent Hearts holds a talk by Dr.Rohan Bowry for care of eyes

Jalandhar, May 7, 2018: On the occasion of ‘World Red Cross Day’, Innocent Hearts held a talk by Dr.Rohan Bowry an ophthalmologist and an alumnus of the school. During the talk he explained the importance of eyes and their special care.Giving a power point presentation he stressed the importance of parts of the eyes. He explained the structures in the eye and their function saying that if proper care is not taken then some diseases can occur that can prove very dangerous.
Dr.Bowry explained to the children that if their parents suffer from problems like diabetes and high blood pressure, then they should get checkup of the eyes done regularly or problems may occur which will be harmful. He said that ‘eye donation’ is a gift of the highest order that one human being can give to another and one lives on in another one’s eyes. The gifted eyes are the light of life for the other.
Dr. Rohan Bowry has been an excellent student of this school who was at the top in other activities also along with studies.
Director Principal, Mr. Dheeraj Banati and Vice Principal, Ms. Sharmila Nakra and Loharan Incharge Ms. Shallu Sehgal presented a token of appreciation to Dr. Rohan saying that they felt honoured to have such students who made them proud. They said that such students make the name of the school shine and wished him well for his successful future.
