Infocomm-2012 : Best Stall Award goes to Bama Infotech

Ludhiana, August 26, 2012: The first ever expo on IT and communication industry was today concluded by Parveen Bansal, Senior Deputy Mayor, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the uniqueness of this exhibition has made it to be counted amongst the leading IT show organised by CICU. This expo will play a proactive role for the growth and development of MSME Sector. The exclusive display of products has made it achieve the title of being highly successful expo.

Avtar Singh, General Secretary, CICU said that the exhibition ranked high on the popularity counts with more than 5,000 visitors interacted in the event. This exhibition also comprised of congregation of IT professionals, buyers-sellers, trade and industry leaders, academician and visionaries who interacted for empowering IT and communication innovations.

An extensive range of latest IT and communication products were showcased during the expo by over 40 exhibitors. The event went a long way in popularizing the usage of new technology amongst the MSMEs for their sustainable development. Informative activities were also held which incorporated awareness seminar on cybercrime and security, conferences, competitions and award ceremony.

Upkar Singh, Joint Secretary, CICU said that keeping in view low IT input in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Sector in the present day scenario, CICU has taken this unique initiative to promote and facilitate IT usage in this sector.  The response to this first of its kind expo in Ludhiana was overwhelming therefore IT trade and industrial production in this region is all set to get tremendous boost. Ludhiana being a key industrial centre in the northern hinterland known for variety of industries is to benefit the most. He thanked all the visitors and participating company for their presence and contribution to the success of the exhibition.
