Ludhiana, April 27, 2017: Induction Furnaces Association of North India president KK Garg and general secretary Dev Gupta have sent a representation to Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, requesting for improving SAP billing system.
The representation reads as under: “The functioning of CBC has always in a critical condition. Normally nobody body can understand the detail of his Electricity Bills. Mistakes in consumer bills are very common. Situation has become very worst when this office has adopted SAP system. Update of consumers detail and their ACD amount is totally wrong.
With March/April bill PSPCL has given interest on ACD but deduct 20% TDS which is normally 10% from all LS consumer when contacted to Deputy director CBC office they inform us that PAN no. of the consumers have not been updated so system has deduct this amount. ACD amount has not updated correctly.
You are requested please issue the instruction to all division office to update PAN no. of all LS consumer and update their correct ACD amount and also instruct Deputy Director CBC to adjust due interest of that ACD amount automatically so that consumer will not be harassed.”
