India now like a fast train: Singapore envoy

New Delhi, June 27 (IANS) India is like a "fast train" and everyone wants to associate with it, Singapore High Commissioner Thuan Kuan said Friday after meeting Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu.

Kuan said his country is keen to further scale up bilateral cooperation in various sectors.

"India is now like a fast train and everyone wants to get in," Kuan told Naidu, said a statment from the urban developmement ministry.

Kuan also said that Singapore's foreign minister would be visiting India next week for discussions in cooperation in various sectors including urban development.
