Income Tax Department Conducts Seminar at Ivy World School

Jalandhar, July 15, 2016: Income tax department conducted a seminar on TDS at Ivy World School. It was conducted in the presence of Sh. S.S. Saini (Income Tax Officer-TDS), Inspector Vipin Uppal and Shri Sanjeev Kumar Vasal (Chairman-Ivy World School). Sh. S.S. Saini apprised the gathering about the importance of TDS, DDOs responsibilities to deduct TDS and timely deposit the same and filling returns and consequences in the form of penalties for non-compilation of income tax provisions.
Inspector Vipin Uppal emphasized on the need to maintain proper record of returns filed, challans in lieu of outstanding TDS demands and defaults appearing on TRACES and updated the staff members on details regarding technical aspects of TDS matters, online features of TRACES comprising returns status, outstanding demand and other defaults and their rectification procedure. The seminar was attended by the staff, faculty of Vasal Educational Society and Ivy World School.
