Illegal structures: LMC team removes around 2 dozen structures

Ludhiana, November 2, 2012: A team of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation (LMC) officials carried out demolition drive in parking lot of vegetable market near Jalandhar Bypass today.

According to information, the officials demolished alleged about 20 illegal structures. The Corporation authorities have been serving notices to the illegal encroachers for over the years. But, the alleged illegal encroachers did not vacate the encroached land.

Finally, a team of the Corporation demolished these illegal structures.

The team was accompanied with sufficient number of police personnel, to maintain complete law and order.
