Jalandhar, November 2, 2015: IK Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU) conducted Bharti Airtel Ltd. Joint Campus Placement drive at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus on Saturday for the students of MBA (Marketing) 2016 passing out batch.
As many as 230 students of participated in the drive from RIM Hoshiarpur, APJ IMT Jalandhar, Punjab Institute of Management - PTU Main Campus, Kapurthala, HIM Hoshiarpur, A&M Institute of Management & Technology Pathankot, DAVIET Jalandhar, SBBSIET Jalandhar, KCL-IMT Jalandhar and others.
The students will be recruited on the annual salary package of Rs 3.00 lakh. In the placement drive, students underwent the selection process comprised of Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. After the first two rounds of Written Test and Group Discussion, 32 students were shortlisted for the Personal Interview.
Mr. Raj Chatterjee (Zonal Business Head, Bharti Airtel), Mr. Sumant (Talent Acquisition Lead, Bharti Airtel), Mr. Nishant (Zonal Sales Manager, Bharti Airtel) and Mr. Sandeep Maurya (Talent Sourcer, Bharti Airtel) conducted the placement process.
Mr. Raj Chatterjee (Zonal Business Head, Bharti Airtel) briefed the students about the company’s profile and made them aware that the company sought devoted and talented job-seekers. It is a leading global telecommunication company with operations in 20 countries across the Asia and Africa. Head quarter is at Delhi. Bharti Airtel becomes one of the largest mobile operators in the world. They provide services of Money Transfer, Online Music (Wynk), Data Plans, DTH Services etc. IKG PTU and CT Group of Institutions has always provided us the best employees’, this is the reason we conduct joint campus placement drives with their association,” said Mr. Chatterjee.
Placement Officer, IKG PTU, Er. Navdeepak Sandhu said, “University has already organized two Airtel placement drives at Mohali & Ludhiana where as two events will be organized at Amritsar & Bathinda in November to cover the entire Punjab.We are keen to organize such placement drives with an objective to create ample job opportunities for the students from different streams, Sandhu added. CT Group of Institutions has been very supportive with us in making us fulfill our aspirations.”
Exclaimed over the thunderous response, Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions motivated students to keep on working hard and remain prepared for the important assignments through the company. He emphasized that with the aim of providing the best employment experience to our students, we are grooming them and striding hard to put the efforts.
