IHARIYALI APP GETS A THUMBS-UP FROM YOUTHS IN LUDHIANA

YOUTHS IN JASPALON VILLAGE PLANT 100 SAPLINGS AFTER GETTING THROUGH MOBILE APP

DORAHA/LUDHIANA, JULY 3, 2018: Initiated with an aim to increase the green cover and to provide fresh air in the state under mission ‘Tandrust Punjab, the ihariyali app has received an overwhelming response from the people especially the youths in Ludhiana.

The youths not only themselves booking the saplings by using mobile app but also encouraging the others to get the saplings of their choice with the help of the app which can be downloaded easily from play store.

A group of youths in village Jaspalon village has planted 100 saplings in the village after booking the saplings through the mobile app. They got several varieties of saplings including fruit, medicinal, tree, timber, ornamentals, and shrubs available on the app.

The youths Sandeep Singh, Arsh, Raju and his friends also told that they got the information about the app in the newspapers and immediately downloaded.

Later, each of them booked 10 saplings immediately available through the app from their mobiles and later contacted the forest guard’s whose number was received on phones. They revealed that two days after, they got the saplings from the government nursery at free of cost.

They motivated the other people to use the app and plant maximum saplings.
