IF PATWARI IS NOT PRESENT IN OFFICE, APPLICATIONS CAN ALSO BE SUBMITTED IN FARD KENDRAS

DECISION TAKEN IN PUBLIC INTEREST: DEPUTY COMMISSIONER

Ludhiana, February 8, 2019: Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal has informed that it has been observed that sometimes when people have some work related to the Patwari, they visit Patwarkhana for work, but owing to some official reasons, Patwari’s are not present in their office and people are not able to meet them. He said that this leads to inconvenience for public.

He said that keeping in mind public interest and to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience, it has now been decided that people can now submit their applications in their nearest Fard Kendra. He said that to ensure that people are not inconvenienced in government offices, even the Punjab government has clear cut instructions in this regard. He said that sometimes, the Patwari’s are either in field or are visiting the courts as they have to submit record there. So keeping in mind interest of public, people can now submit their applications in nearest Fard Kendras so that they are not inconvenienced.
