IDBI Bank Awarded ISO 27001:2013 Certification

Mumbai, June 11, 2015: IDBI Bank has successfully attained the International Organization for Standardization Certification (ISO 27001:2013). IDBI Bank is one of the few public sector banks to upgrade to the latest ISO standard in Information Security i.e. ISO27001:2013. The certification means that IDBI Bank’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) is compliant with the latest best practices, controls and industry standards.

The ISO 27001:2013, the most stringent certification for information security controls, guarantees that ample information security controls and other forms of risk treatment are in place to prevent and defend against potential cyber threats.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri M. S.
