I S DEV SAMAJ STUDENTS' EXTEND HELPING HAND TO VILLAGERS
Chandigarh, September 18, 2018: Under the social responsibility initiative of I S Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School, Sec 21, students of the school visited village Raipur Khurd, to make villagers aware about government schemes & to interact with village children. "The students of class 10th onwards and teachers gave valuable information about such Social Welfare schemes of the government which could help villagers - mainly women & children in their growth & personality development. The villagers felt motivated to make use of the schemes after their interaction with students." Said Loveleen Bedi, Principal, I S Dev Samaj School. The village children were filled with joy when students of I S Dev Samaj School shared their toys, books, pen-pencils & other items of need with them. The students also gave refreshments to their village counterparts which the children relished. The students & teachers of the school, were accompanied by Para-Legal Volunteers(PLV) - Ms. Mohinder Kaur Kataria, Ms. Urvashi Sharma and Sh. Umesh Kumar.
