Ludhiana, October 28, 2014: With regard to the issuance of an IT notice regarding the existence of a foreign bank account in her name the former UPA minister Preneet Kaur has stated that, “In this regard I can confirm receiving such a notice in 2011, and having replied it wherein I have strongly denied any such allegations.”
In a statement, she added “In keeping with my reply to the IT department, I should like to state that I never had, and do not have any bank account(s) overseas in my name with any foreign bank”.
She further said “I have always replied in the negative to such like inquiries in the past as well”.
