The three accused involved in the much publicised violence that occurred in the premises of The Hub- a restaurant, on December 24 this year are being taken to produce before Duty Magistrate, Ludhiana on Monday.

Ludhiana, December 31, 2012:The three accused involved in the much publicised violence that occurred in the premises of The Hub- a restaurant, on December 24 this year have been sent to 14 days judicial remand today. Ludhiana range AIG (counter intelligence) SS Mand too had got his leg fractured during this violence.
The accused were produced before Duty Magistrate who send them to 14 days judicial custody.
The three accused are; former Akali leaders Maninderpal Singh alias Sunny Johar and his nephew Amandeep Singh alias Aman and Rishi Banda.
Sunny is the owner of the restaurant.
The incident had occurred at The Hub at Ghumar Mandi here, in which Mand’ NRI friend Parmjit Singh was allegedly assaulted following which a case under various sections of the IPC including Section 307 (attempt to murder) was registered against the accused.
