The students seen holding placards with slogans reading ‘Good habits leads to a clean living’, ‘Don’t wait for a clean India, start now’, ‘Its our duty to make India clean and green’, etc.
Dharamsala, March 9, 2016: Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) invited students to watch T20 World Cup match live at HPCA Stadium, Dharamsala on Wednesday when the Dharamsala leg of World Cup T 20 started here. As a part of “Swachh Himachal – Padhai bhi, Safai bhi” campaign launched by HPCA, students who have pledged and associated themselves with the initiative were invited to watch the match.
HPCA has further extended invitation to students from other schools, institutes and districts for matches scheduled on 11th & 13th March, 2016.
"The most deserving students will further get an opportunity to meet their favourite international cricketers and indulge in interactive sessions with them," said Ragini, spokesperson HPCA.
Swachh Himachal campaign was launched by Governor HP Sh.Acharya Devvrat along with Sh.Anurag Thakur, President HPCA & MP Hamirpur on March 2, 2016 in Shimla.
