Hooda assures sympathetic consideration on demands of tent dealers

New Delhi/Jalandhar, August 26, 2013: Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda has assured the sympathetic consideration on the demands of tent dealers.

Speaking at the first Annual Conference of Haryana Tent Dealers Welfare Association at Rohtak today, Hooda said that tent dealers are providing commendable service to the society.

Hooda said that the aim of his government is service of the society. Haryana government has prepared development Schemes for all areas of the States and welfare schemes for all sections of the society. With the cooperation of the people of the State, Haryana today is progressing fast. Tent dealers are also contributing in the progress of the State by providing service to the society. He said that the work of tent dealers is of great responsibility. In the marriage of the daughter, they work with even more responsibility than the members of the family.

Referring to the demands of the Association, The C.M said that since the formation of his government in the State, license fee has not been increased. Regarding demand of the Tent Nagar, Hooda asked the dealers to prepare the concept in this regard and send their proposal to the Municipal Corporation. On the demand of plots for godowns, Hooda suggested that joint warehouses can be built up. On the issue of no entry, Hooda said that in special situation, request for special permits can be made.

 Rohtak MLA Bharat Bhushan Batra also appreciated the work of the tent dealers and said that they fulfill the need of the society on birthday celebrations, marriages and other occasions.

Earlier, Hooda was given grand welcome on reaching the function. He was also presented a memento. Hooda released the souvenir of the Association.

The function was also addressed by Chairman of the Association Naresh Bhardwaj, General Secretary Dilbag Saini, Chief Patron OP Manocha. President of the Association Anil Rao put up the demands on the behalf of tent dealers.

On this occasion, Chairman of Haryana Seed Development of Corporation Sant Kumar, President of Haryana Tourism Corporation Chakarwarti Sharma, Rohtak Mayor Renu Dabla, President of District Gramin Congress Jaideep Dhankhar, Kuldeep Nambardar, Yashpal Panwar, DC Dr. Amit Kumar Aggarwal, SP Rajesh Duggal and other dignitaries were also present.
