Honda to replace faulty parts in Accord and CR-V

New Delhi, July 16 (IANS) Automobile manufacturer Honda Cars India Wednesday said it will carry out preventive replacement of passenger side air bag inflator in luxury sedan Accord and sports utility vehicle (CR-V).

According to the company, it is carrying out the activity as part of a global exercise by Honda Motor Company to ensure stringent quality standards. Currently, there has been no reporting of any incident related to this part in India.

The company said in a statement that it will replace the part in 1,085 units of Accord and 252 units of CR-V manufactured in 2003 and one unit of CR-V manufactured in 2002 as part of Honda's global recall.
