HMV organises lecture on Career Opportunities in Media

Jalandhar, November 11, 2014: The Creative Lens Society of Mass Communication and Video Production Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised a lecture on Career Opportunities in Media for Women. 

The resource person of the lecture was Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur, Director, Shamsheer Communications Pvt. Ltd.  Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj, Deptt. Coordinator Ramnita Saini Sharda and Incharge of Creative Lens Society Rama Sharma welcomed the guest with a bouquet of flowers. 

Resource Person Ramanpreet Kaur addressed the students and told them about various career opportunities in Media.  She said that it is a misconception that girls don’t have bright future in media industry, rather girls are doing excellent work in Radio, TV, Newspapers, Advertising, Publication Relation and other fields of media.  She said that one should grab the right opportunity at right time.   We should always work hard to fulfil our dreams.  She also showed short films to the students which were motivational as well as with unique ideas. 

Incharge of Creative Lens Society Rama Sharma thanked the guest for her wonderful lecture.  Stage was conducted by Diksha Trehan, student of B.A.III.  This lecture was attended by students of Journalism, Video Production and M.A. Hindi.
