HMV organised Prize Distribution Function of NCC Army Wing

Jalandhar, November 8, 2016: The Prize Distribution Function of NCC Army Wing was organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. Commanding Officer 2nd Pb. Girls Battalion Col.Atul Shah was the chief guest of the occasion. Principal Prof.Dr.(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed him and encouraged the students to join NCC. A presentation on the activities of NCC Army and Air Wing of HMV was also shown to the guests and the students. While addressing the students, chief guest Col. Atul Shah told the students about the benefits of being an NCC cadet. He said that NCC helps not only in forces but also in professional life. He also showed a presentation of NCC to the students. On this occasion, more than 35 NCC cadets of HMV were given prizes for their achievements in various NCC camps. The students presented DAV Gaan and patriotic songs. On this occasion, Incharge NCC Army Wing of HMV Mrs. Saloni Sharma, Incharge NCC Air Wing of HMV Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Mrs. Purnima and Dr. Shaveta Chauhan were also present.
