Himachal wins National Senior Women's One Day League (2016-17) Tournament

Dharamshala, October 19, 2016: Himachal under the captainship of Ms Shivani Sharma has won the National Senior Women's One Day League (2016-17) Tournament on Wednesday by beating UP by 48 Runs at Motibaug Cricket Ground, Vadodara. This is the maiden major Title of HP eves in Sr Cricket.
Himachal, who won the toss chose to Bat and scored 192/8 in 49.6 overs NM Choudhry was the top score with 77 runs followed by MP Devi 56 and SA Sharma’s captains knock of 23 valuable runs . Ms R K Singh of UP took 5 off 2 and S H Kumari 3 off 4 runs.
In Reply, Utter Pradesh lost their 9 wickets for 137 runs of 47.5 overs when their last batter Shivangi Raj did’t bat. Their top scorer was Nishu Choudhary 39 ,while their captain Dipti too scored 23 runs . Himachal successful bowlers were TP Kanwar 3 for 26 and RK Singh 2 for 32
