Dharamsala, December 27, 2012: Due to the Western Disturbance (W.D) as an upper air system lies over North India and its neighborhood the Himachal Pradesh will reel under immense cold weather in the next 48 hours as per the forecast of  meteorological office in the state.

The weathermen have predicted Rain or snow at few places of upper region and wide spread rain with thunder storm in the rest of the area in Himachal Pradesh.

During last 24 hrs, precipitation occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh.

It said that maximum temperatures decreased by 1 to 20C and Minimum temperatures increased by 2 to 30C in last 24 hrs.

The Lowest temp recorded at Keylong, head Quarter of Lahoul and Spiti District was minus 06.7° C  and.

The other cities recorded the minimum as 0 degree at Kalpa, 1.8 at Nahan ,2 at Manali, 3 Solan, 4.3 at Mandi, 4.7 at Bhuntar, 5.5 at Sunder nagar and 6.4 degree cesius at Shimla

The Highest temperature recorded in state was 20.7° C at Sundernagar followed by 20.2 at Solan .

There were traces of snowfall in Keylong and Udaipur.

The state generally observed the cloudy sky with chilly winds on Thursday.
