Dharamshala, October 14, 2016: Dharamshala is all set to host the 900th One Day International taking place on October 16 between India and New Zealand. The match is expected to witness the presence of prominent personalities, including Sh.Manoj Sinha, Minister of State for Railways and Information Technology and Communications, Prof.Prem Kumar Dhumal, Leader of Opposition, Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
Commenting on the upcoming match, Sh.Anurag Thakur, President, HPCA said, “It is a matter of great pride for Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) to host the 900th ODI. Additionally, the ODI series between India and New Zealand is commencing from Dharamshala and the excitement for the same can be gauged from the response we have received from the fans. We are hoping to witness a full house stadium hooting for their favorite team and players in blue, who are looking forward to maintain their supremacy against New Zealand by regaining clean sweep in the ODI series as well.”
Adding further on personalities expected to attend the match, Sh. Anurag Thakur said, “HPCA will be happy to host esteemed personalities such as Sh. Manoj Sinha, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal and others who have been invited for the match. It will be our honor to host all the guests & fans and hope each one will have a good time and enjoy the match.”
