Dharamshala, February 18, 2017: Himacchal U 23 girls become the North Zone Champions by defeating J&K Girls by a huge margin of 266 runs in the tournament played at Khalsa College Stadium Amritsar.
Playing first Himachal piled up a big score of 358 runs, with the help of opener Nitika Chouhan’s 213 n. o. She scored her individual best with the help of 27 fours and 2 sixes in just 170 balls.
In reply J&K was bundled out for just 92 runs in 21.4 overs . Thanks to a deadly bowling spell by Tanuza Kanwar , who claimed 7 wickets for 25 runs.
