New Delhi, August 17, 2014: The Haryana Cabinet, which met at Chandigarh today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, has decided to give an option to the employees to serve till the age of 60 years provided they are fit to continue in service. Similarly, the class-IV employees will serve till the age of 62 years. The date of superannuation will remain unchanged.
The Cabinet also decided that regularisation policy will also be applicable to the work charge/daily wages/adhoc employees. In addition, this policy and the regularization policy for group ‘B’ employees will also be applicable to all Boards and Corporations of the State.
The Cabinet also decided to amend its existing policy for providing compassionate appointment in feeder cadre in class-III and IV posts to a dependent of martyr of armed forces personnel or para military forces personnel.
As per the amendment, the dependent of martyrs who lost their life prior to January 1, 2014 would be covered under the policy. This decision would provide equal opportunity to those dependents of martyrs who killed in action in border skirmishes, terrorist attacks or riots in additional to other financial benefits to bereaved family.
The Cabinet also decided to give government job to  Meenakhsi widow of martyr  Dalbir Singh resident of village Pipli, tehsil Kharkhoda district Sonipat under the policy.
The Cabinet also decided to give government job to Mr. Ashwani Kumar son of Martyr Rampal Singh, Assistant Commandant CRPF resident of village Chhochhi, tehsil Beri district Jhajjar under the policy.
Meanwhile, Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at Chandigarh today decided to provide government job in group C and D posts in Police department to 17 dependent  of Haryana Police martyrs who killed in action while displaying bravery and extra ordinary courage in fighting with anti-social elements, dacoits, criminals and terrorists.
Haryana Cabinet also announced that the computer faculty engaged through service providers would continue to be paid directly by the Department of School Education on the same basis as before even after the termination process has started in respect of the service providers.
The computer faculty has been asked to continue to report for duty in the same school where they were deputed before May 31, 2014.  He also announced to extend the last date for qualifying the HTET and B.Ed exams (in respect of PGTs) from April 1, 2015 to January 1, 2018.
Haryana Cabinet   decided that the Commonwealth Games Medal Winners who have not applied for jobs, they will be given a job. The Cabinet has authorised the Chief Minister to give any relaxation, if required, on the recommendation of committee. The Cabinet also decided to give regular promotion to  Amit Kumar, ORP Inspector from the date he was promoted as ORP Inspector under sports quota. Amit Kumar is an outstanding wrestler who brought laurels to the state and nation in various national and international championships. He won gold medal in Commonwealth wrestling championship trophy held at Melbourne in Australia in year 2011.
Cabinet approved to bring an ordinance for inserting “Amnesty Scheme” in the Haryana Value Added Tax Act 2003 so as to facilitate recovery of old arrears of taxes and to provide relief to all types of dealers from payment of penalties and interest in the state. “Amnesty Scheme” will enable the State to recover old arrears of various taxes which are outstanding and are difficult to recover despite the earnest efforts of the Excise and Taxation Department. At present there is no enabling provision in the Haryana Value Added Taxes, 2003 to notify the Amnesty scheme.
Old tax arrears including interest and penalty amounting to Rs.5560.43 crore are outstanding in the State as on June 30, 2014 under the Haryana Value Added Tax Act 2003 and Central Sales Tax Act 1956.
