HARYANA CM: Retail FDI to benefit farmers

Jalandhar, November 9, 2012: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda is of the view that total investments in the state were out of the private investors that is 87 per cent.

The Chief Minister said, 87 per cent of total investments in Haryana were from the private sector.

Hooda was addressing at a closing session of the World Economic Forum at Gurgaon on Thursday.

The Chief Minister said, “Haryana was one of the few states that had agreed to the FDI proposal in FDI in retail, to benefit farmers, consumers and entrepreneurs of the state”.
