Haryana CM congratulates Para-athlete, Deepa Malik on winning Gold Medal in 18th National Para Athletics Championship-2018

Chandigarh, March 27, 2018: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal congratulated Para-athlete, Ms.Deepa Malik on winning Gold Medal in the 18th National Para Athletics Championship-2018 being held at Panchkula near here and said that she is an inspiration for all daughters of the State.
Mr Manohar Lal was interacting with Ms Deepa Malik as she called on him here today. He also appreciated her for winning gold in the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai recently.
‘I congratulate Ms Deepa Malik for winning gold medal in the 18th National Para Athletics Championship-2018 and also in World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai’, said the Chief Minister adding that the State Government is committed to create a positive environment in the State that constantly motivates and encourages sportspersons.
Ms Deepa Malik thanked the Chief Minister for appreciating her and said that she received a tremendous amount of encouragement from him. She also expressed satisfaction on the accessibility of youth hostels during the Championship.
