Haryana Chief Secretary,  S.C.Choudhary presiding over an Interactive Session with the members of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI) and entrepreneurs in New Delhi on Wednesday.

New Delhi, July 17, 2014: Haryana Chief Secretary,  S.C.Choudhary has said that the Haryana Government is taking concrete steps for promoting industries in the State in a big way.   
Choudhary was presiding over an Interactive Session with the members of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI) and entrepreneurs in New Delhi on Wednesday. He advised the entrepreneurs that in case of any complaint, they should make complaint in writing to the appropriate authority and the action will be definitely taken against the concerned faulty officials.
Choudhary described the Interactive Session as useful interaction and said that it would help in resolving the various problems being faced by the entrepreneurs in the State.
Speaking on the occasion, the Additional Chief Secretary, Industries Department Haryana, Y.S. Malik said that the State Government is according priority for providing affordable housing facilities to the labourers, skill development and vocational training programmes in the State. He said that after IMT Manesar, the labour housing colonies are being setup at Faridabad, Kundli and Rai in the Industrial Estate in the State. He said that the priority is also being given for allotment of industrial plots for setting up of skill development centres.
The Principal Secretary, Power Haryana,  Devender Singh said that every possible measure is being taken to facilitate the power consumers in the State. He said that the online collection of electricity bills is being introduced very soon in the State. He said that the power generation capacity has been considerably increased and additional 5000 MW power has been generated in the State. He said that now the industries are getting 20 to 24 hours power in the State.
The Principal Secretary, Town and Country Planning Haryana, T.C. Gupta said that the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) is also planning to provide multi-level parking facilities in the residential sectors of HUDA in the State. He said that a sum of Rs. 30 crore has been allocated for providing lighting facilities on NH-1 from Delhi-Kundli border to Murthal. The contract has already been awarded to a firm for undertaking this work. He said that as soon as Haryana Government will receive NOC from National Highway Authority of India, the work on this project will be started immediately.
The Principal Secretary, Environment Haryana,  Mahavir Singh said that the entrepreneurs should play a significant role for maintaining environment and they should not earn the profit and the cost of environment for our further generations. He advised the entrepreneurs to apply for pollution control clearances on the website of Haryana Pollution Control Board – www.hspcb.gov.in and they will get response within 24 hours from the time of filling of their application.   
Earlier, The Senior Vice President of PHD Chamber, Alok B. Shriram welcomed Haryana Chief Secretary S.C. Choudhary and said that the PHD Chamber is an effective forum between entrepreneurs and State Government. He said that Haryana has witnessed a new height in the industrial development during the past few years.
