Haryana’s Arjun and Dhyan Chand awardee players call on Hooda

New Delhi/Jalandhar, September 2, 2013: Arjun and Dhyan Chand awardee players of Haryana called on Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda in New Delhi today. These players of Haryana were honoured with National Awards by the President on 31 August, 2013.
Congratulating the players,  Hooda said that with their hard work, the players had won laurels and brought name to their State and the Country.  Hooda said that under its Sports Policy, Haryana Government is providing all facilities and incentives to the players.
On this occasion, Sirsa M P,  Ashok Tanwar and Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Professor Virender were also present, besides Paralympic Coach  Naval Singh.         
The players who were honoured at the function in Rashtrapati Bhawan on August 31, included seven players from Haryana. Four players were honoured with Arjun Awards, two players with Dhyan Chand Awards and one player with Dronacharya Award.
Four of the National Awardee players, who called on Mr Hooda today, included Arjun Awardee Mr Amit Kumar Saroha and  Dharmender Dalal and Dhyan Chand Awardee Giriraj Singh and Anil Maan. Besides these four players, the President also had honoured Neha Rathi and Kavita with Arjun Award and Narender Kumar Saini with Dronacharya Award.
