Gathering during a seminar organised to honour specially 45 candidates selected by the Punjab Subordinate Selection Board, Punjab by the Language Department, Ferozepur, who got training in Stenography during the year 2011-12 from Language Department offices, Ferozepur and Faridkot.
Ferozeur, July 26, 2013: A seminar was organised to honour specially 45 candidates selected by the Punjab Subordinate Selection Board, Punjab by the Language Department, Ferozepur, who got training in Stenography during the year 2011-12 from Language Department offices, Ferozepur and Faridkot.
Manjit Singh Narang, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur was the chief guest and Chetan Singh, Director, Language Department, Punjab, Guest of Honour.
Speaking on this occasion, Narang said, “Only hard work is the key to success, which opens the door of rise in rank and development”.
Wishing for the golden future of the students honoured on this occasion, Deputy Commissioner advised them always work hard in the life.
In his address, Chetan Singh said, “The honoured Stenographers are working in various departments and some old students are serving as PCS and IAS and Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur Manjit Singh Narang is one of them.”
On this occasion, ‘Kavi Darbar’ was als organised and prominent writes Dyal Singh Pyasa, Chama Surjit, Tilak Raj Kahal and Hari Singh Sandhu shared their compositions with the audience. Dr. Rameshwar Singh performed the master of ceremony very nicely.
District Language Officer, Ferozepur, Raman Sahota, thanked the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and the audience. Baldev Singh Bhullar, District Language Officer, Amrik Singh, DPRO, Satinder Singh, National Awardee, Mohan Singh Kalra, Vijay Behal, Baltej Singh Inspector, Gurmej Singh Jasbir Singh were present on the function.
