Gurugram Gets its Unique Hypermart "The Utility Store"

Gurugram, December 20, 2016: Challenging the status quo in the hypermarket space, one of India's emerging brands in this genre "The Utility Store" is all set to make its grand debut in Delhi-NCR. With the launch of 10 stores in Delhi-NCR- one in Delhi, 4 in Gurugram, 1 in Faridabad and 4 in Ghaziabad; the company endeavours to open 50 such stores in Delhi-NCR by April 2017. Renowned Bollywood actor Mahima Choudhary inaugurated the stores in Ghaziabad and Gurugram.

To begin with, the store will have products from across 14 categories spread over 1200 varieties, namely baby care, cleaning and washing, beauty utility, personal care and health utility, bathroom, kitchen and dining utility and many more. By April 2017, company aims to open 50 such stores in Delhi- NCR. In order to cater to even the lowest strata of income, 70% of the products in the store will be priced between rupees 111 to 333 only. Affordability, quality and utility will be the hallmark of The Utility Store.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Rahul Singhal, CMD, The Utility Store said, "Through our research in over 104 countries, we have found that India lacks stores which cater to such wide range of products at a single place. We are trying to bridge this gap through The Utility Store and look to scale up our store to over 5000 across India in the next 2-3 years."

The Utility Store looks to change the way India shops for its basic necessities. A boon for the fast life of today's generation, the store will enhance the shopping experience through systematic placement of products, easy access, navigation, billing etc.
