Guru Nanak Dev University Placements

Amritsar, January 5, 2015:The representatives of Navyug Info, a multinational IT  from  Noida, visited Guru Nanak Dev University for campus placements of students of Computer Science Engineering Department passing out in June 2015. The company selected four students – three B.Tech. CSE and one MCA student. With this, the number of students placed with various National and Multinational software and other companies reached 489.

The selection process included online aptitude & technical test followed by technical and HR Interviews. Around 100 students from Amritsar, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Sultanpur Lodhi and Sathiala campuses appeared in the technical test.  The selected 4 students were offered a handsome salary package of Rs. 4.50 lac per annum. The new recruits will join with Navyug Info in June 2015. The company also extended six month stipend based (15000 per month) industrial training to all the selected students.

Similarly, 99acres.com, a subsidiary of a leading national company Info Edge (India) Ltd. visited the university for campus placements of MBA students passing out in June, 2015. The company selected 4 students at a pay package of Rs. 4.75 Lakhs p.a.

It brings together builders, brokers, dealers and interested buyers / sellers and connects them over the online medium.

Many more companies have confirmed their visit in near future to recruit the students of university. The demand for the university students by the corporate world itself speaks of the quality infrastructure and facilities available at university and its regional campuses.
