Guru Kashi University on Wednesday organising Rally for Social Awareness at Talwani Sabo.
Talwandi Sabo, January 28, 2015: Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology, a constituent college of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo organised rally for Social Awareness regarding AIDS and Health Issues with full zeal and enthusiasm.
The objective of this activity was to increase awareness about AIDS and health issues among people of surrounding area. Singh Sahib Giani Gurmukh Singh, Jathedar Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo accompanied by other officials of Takhat Sahib and Dean-Directors of GKU flagged off the road show.
The rally moved from Takhat Sahib to Bus Stand, Gillan Wala Khooh, Lelewala road, Khanda Chowk and then back to Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib. Over 400 students & staff of Guru Kashi University participated in this event.
Dr. N.S. Malhi Vice-Chancellor appreciated the activity by Dr. Sandeep Kautish, Principal GGSCET and other staff involved. He also said that this awareness rally is really going to serve the society.
