CHANDIGARH, OCTOBER 31, 2016: On Diwali Day, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Shri V.P. Singh Badnore visited Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre Mohali and wished Happy Diwali to disabled Army Soldiers.
Interacting with family members of these brave soldiers, the Governor invited all of them on Hi-Tea at Punjab Raj Bhavan with their family members.
Distributing sweets, the Governor asked them their problems and assured them that all their genuine demands would be considered on priority. He also witnessed basket ball match played by them on the wheel chairs. Shri Badnore along with Mr. M.P. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary to Governor and staff spent over one and half hour with them and had round of all the wings of the centre. He appreciated the facilities and infrastructure being provided to them.
