Government Home Science College Tops in NIRF-2019 among Tricity Colleges

Chandigarh, April 9, 2019: Government Home Science College attains 72th rank at National level and tops among tricity Government and Private Colleges in National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), 2019 announced by Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javadekar on April 9, 2019. The college scored 51.27 points in the above ranking. The participated institutes were evaluated on Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcome (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI) and Perception.
Principal Dr. Sudha Katyal shared that it is a proud moment for the college and expressed her happiness on this great achievement. She further added that this higher ranking was made possible only by the hard work, dedication and team efforts of all the faculty members.
