Jalandhar, June 21, 2018: The International Yoga Day was celebrated in the premises of Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus at Ladhewali here today. The faculty and non teaching staff participated by doing asanas and chants of Om.
Earlier, a 5 day Yoga Camp was organized for the staff of Regional Campus, which was conducted by Mrs BaljeetKaur. Various asanas were performed and the benefits of yoga were also told to the participants.
Dr.Jyotish Malhotra, Associate Dean of the Campus exhorted everyone to adopt yoga as a way of healthy and active life and said that even the world has recognized its importance through the celebration of this day.
