GNA University Signs MOU with UET Italia (European University for Tourism)

Jalandhar, March 6, 2019: GNA University inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with The European University for Tourism (UET), Italy. Dr. Marina Ambrosecchio, Director of UET Italia and Dr Narendra Awasthi, Registrar, GNA University signed the MOU to develop joint programmes of study, exchange and cooperation in the areas of teaching, research and student training. It was agreed that both the sides will conduct joint seminars and workshops on common issues. Mr. Varinder Singh Rana, Deputy Dean-Faculty of Hospitality mentioned that both the organizations will collaborate and undertake joint research/industrial projects with mutual consent. UET, Italia will engage different faculty members of GNA University at different times, as the need be, for the expert opinion and advice from time to time. Vice- Chancellor Prof V K Rattan said, “The linkage of two academic bodies is a crucial step which should remain at the forefront to motivate both the sides and enhance each other skills.” He even said, “The MoU with UET will pave way for the progress and prosperity of the country.” Pro-Chancellor, S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra expressed, “The MoU will enable both the universities to share their knowledge and experience for mutual benefits.” During the signing of MOU, Ms Monika Hanspal, Mr Sameer Varma, Mr Kunal Bains and Mr. Abhishek Sood were also present.
