Talwandi Sabo, September 2, 2014: Guru Gobind Singh College of Education, Talwandi Sabo students visited Mahant Gurbanta Dass School, Bathinda. Dr N.S Malhi, Vice Chancellor of Guru Kashi University flagged off the two buses for this visit. During this visit B.Ed. students were told about the challenges faced by the physical challenged students in their education.
Students of Mahant Gurbanta Dass School have been frequently visiting Guru Kashi University for the last few years for their outing on various cultural & sports events. This will help them to interact with the main strata as one of the means of socialisation.
Tour Committee Chairman of the College, Lecturer Satwinder Kaur stated that few more related visits will be carried out along with the Educational & Historical tours for the overall development of the student teachers.
Dr. A.K. Kansal, Principal stated that the college’s management & staff is also heading ahead to meet the objective of Right to Education. The academic calendar of college is full of co-curricular activities along with curricula for the overall development of the students.
