Ludhiana, July 7, 2015: BCA and MCA students of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines brought laurels to the institute by performing extremely well in the final Semester examination conducted by PTU in May-June,2015.
Ms. Harmanjit and Ms. Sharanpreet of MCA 6th sem stood first in the college with 96.25% each. Ms. Anjali, Ms. Jaswinder Kaur and Ms. Harleen of the same class bagged the second position by scoring 95% marks each. 82% students of MCA 6th sem scored more than 75% marks.
The BCA students also showcased brilliance with Ms.Neha Jassal topping the class with 86.28%, while Mr. Vasu and Mr. Gundeep Singh Sood scoring 82.85% and 82 % respectively. More than 50% of class cleared the semester with distinction.
Ms. Harmanjit Kaur attributed her success to regularity in studies and continuous support and cooperation from the teachers. Revealing his success formula, Mr. Gundeep said that regular and effective lectures along with his determination to do well worked for him. For Ms. Neha Jassal , it was her passion for computers that made her excel in the field.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Co-ordinator, GGNIMT and Principal Dr. P. S Khattra congratulated the students for their brilliant performance and wished them good luck for their bright and rewarding future. They also acknowledged the teachers for their hard work and sincerity.
