Get plugged onto the Biggest MTV unplugged Season 6

Good news for all the music aficionados! After five successful seasons, Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged, the show that has garnered tremendous traction over the years and is among the most consumed music properties online, is back with its sixth season. But trust this season to be bigger, better in fact going a notch higher than its previous seasons. And what makes season six so special?

Well, besides the show commencing on MTV from January 14, 2017, it will also air on MTV's brand new Bollywood music channel MTV BEATS and will also be available on Viacom18's online platform VOOT.

Unlike every year, this season also includes an eclectic mix of greatest ever line-up of artists performing live on some of their latest and biggest hits unplugged.

Since last five seasons we have seen reputed singers such as Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Pritam, Sukhwinder Singh and others crooning some of their best renditions. But, this season is going to be super special and touted to be the biggest ever as it integrates maestros with some fresh talent & young guns too, who will sing unplugged versions for the first time on MTV along with some popular Bollywood numbers, making it an ENIGMATIC EXPERIENCE!

Bringing in none other than the Oscar winner A. R. Rahman back for yet another season, who will do the opening performance. Out of his rich musical treasure, A.R Rahman will sing his favourite and popular numbers namely 'Uvashi Urvashi', 'Tu Hai', 'Enna Sonna' from the latest film OK JAANU, 'Ranjhna Ranjhna' and a few more.

Besides, A R Rahman there will be striking performances by some very famous and amazing singers who will be performing in the subsequent episodes. Stunning the audience with her first stint at going unplugged, Shreya Ghosal will give viewers enough reasons to tune in and make them swoon over her magnificent renditions. Other star performers include Badshah, Benny Dayal, Neeti Mohan, Amit Trivedi, Sachin-Jigar, Jubin Nautiyal, Siddharth Mahadevan, Amit Mishra, Shahid Mallya, Divya Kumar and Jasleen Royal who will be completing the line-up for the season and seen mesmerizing viewers with their magical music.

With 12 singers, 42 songs, 10 episodes, season 6 is indeed going to be the biggest. Well, you simply can't miss this power-packed sixth season of MTV unplugged!
