Chandigarh, September 11, 2012: Newly appointed member of the Punjab State Human Rights Commission Pushpinder Singh Grewal today assumed the charge of his office.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Punjab government informed that Grewal's appointment is for the term of five years and with his induction the strength of the members of the Commission had gone up to five including the Chairman Justice Jagdish Bhalla.
On this occasion, Grewal reiterated his firm commitment to serve the people of the state thereby safeguarding their legitimate rights as a humble member of the Commission with dedication, honesty and sincerity besides upholding glorious traditions and ethics of this august office.
