G.C. Chatterji Hall (Boys Hostel No.-2), Panjab University held its Annual Day and Prize Distribution function

Chandigarh, April 22, 2019: G.C.Chatterji Hall (Boys Hostel No.-2), Panjab University held its Annual Day and Prize Distribution function in the hostel common room today (22 April, 2019). Prof.Emanual Nahar, Dean Student welfare Panjab University, was the chief guest on this auspicious occasion. Prof. Nahar gave best wishes to the students for their end semester examinations and motivated them.
Dr.Virender Kumar Negi , Hostel Warden presented the annual day report which highlighted the various activities in the hostel as well as individual achievements of the students. Students who had achieved laurels in several areas of sports and extracurricular activities were presented awards. Dr. Negi also gave certificates and mementos as an award of appreciation to the Deepender Kaushik and Aman Kumar, members of hostel committee. Some students also share their hostel experience and happy moment they spend in the hostel by saying that our hostel is ‘A Home Away From Home’. Staff Members of hostel were also facilitated for their contribution to the hostel. Finally, Mr. Avtar Singh (Senior Assistant Warden) thanks to all students and staff members for making the function memorable.
