GADVASU NCC cadet Awarded ADG (Assistant Director General) Merit Certificate

Ludhiana, October 22, 2016: adet Ravinder Kaur of 1 PB R&V SQN NCC, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana was awarded ADG merit certificate as she brought laurels to this unit, NCC GP LDH and PHHP & C Directorate and GADVASU in RDC 2016, by her outstanding performance by winning silver & bronze medals in show jumping and Hacks competitions at National level Equestrian competitions. She was also felicitated by the Director General, NCC for her contribution during the RDC & PM Rally 2016. She is presently pursuing her graduation in Veterinary Science from College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU, Ludhiana. The other Cadet Vishal Kumar of 1 PB R&V SQN NCC was also awarded Merit certificate for winning one Gold and One bronze Medal at Republic Day Camp, 2016. Apart from these two cadets, Cadet Paramveer Singh, a fourth year student of College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU also won a bronze medal in Hacks competition at RDC, 2016. MAJ GEN BALBIR SINGH, YSM, ADG, Punjab, Haryana Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh NCC Directorate made his maiden visit to NCC Group Headquarter Ludhiana on 18/10/2016. He presented Merit certificates to the NCC cadets of Ludhiana group who have brought laurels to the whole directorate by winning various medals at Republic Day Camp.
Lt. Col. Tushar Upasani, Officer Commanding of the Unit congratulated the cadets for their outstanding achievements and motivated them to keep up the good work. Lt. Dr. Nittin Dev Singh, Associate NCC Officer of GADVASU hailed the achievements of the cadets of College of Veterinary Science and told that the cadets of College of Veterinary Science have to work very hard to reach this platform as there is tremendous pressure of studies on the as they are pursuing a professional degree. The University provides excellent infrastructure for the cadets by giving each and every facilities to 1 Pb R&V SQN NCC. The unit has added a lot of new facilities like sprinkler system, new equipment and horses under the dynamic leadership of Lt. Col. Tushar Upasani.
