Chandigarh, February 10, 2018: A fun and food fest was organized by the staff and the students of Adarsh Public Smart School, Sector-20, Chandigarh. The programme was inaugurated by chief guest Mr Davesh Moudgil, Mayor, Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh.
Mr Rajesh Gupta, Area Councilor and former Senior Deputy Mayor, MC Chandigarh, was the guest of honour. The school was tastefully decorated on this occasion. Students were given a chance to enjoy themselves. Many fun games and food stalls were arranged to make the event interesting. The aim of the event was to refresh the students and to make them stress free before the annual exams.
Principal, Ms Sunita Thakur appreciated the efforts of the students and said, “The event turned out to be a great success. Two lucky draws were also held for parents and students, which included two movie tickets and a buffet dinner each as the prize. Theme of the programme was “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” and “Save the Girl Child”.
