Free Training Camp For Those Interested In Joining Punjab Police Starts At Police Lines Ludhiana

Ludhiana, June 28, 2016: As per the directions of DGP Punjab, the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, Mr Jatinder Singh Aulakh has started a free training camp for those interested in joining the Punjab Police, at Police Lines, here. The aspirants are being given free physical training by Police Welfare. Besides children of cops, anyone can take part in this free camp. A total of 651 aspirants, comprising 506 boys and 145 girls are taking part in this camp and this figure is increasing every day. Mr Aulakh informed that the training camp is held from 5 am to 7 am and 25 trainee groups have been formed and Drill Inspector of Punjab Police and Commando Jawans have been deputed to train the aspirants. He said that the aspirants participate in running and PT for 30 minutes each and practice long jump and high jump for one hour. After training, the aspirants are given lime juice and fruit as refreshment by Police welfare.
