Free medical camp held by Mata Kaushalya Devi Pahawa Charitable Hospital Hambran Unit of CMC

Ludhiana, March 21, 2017: Today, MKDPCH (Mata Kaushalya Devi Pahawa Charitable Hospital) Hambran, Unit of CMC Ludhiana held a free medical camp at Hambran. The camp was sponsored by Mr Onkar Singh Pahwa, MD and Chairman of Avon Cycles Ltd, in memory of his father and founder of Avon Cycles Shri Sohan Lal Pahwa. Medical teams from Ophthalmology, General Medicine, Neurology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Cardio Thoracic Surgery, Orthopedics, Dental, Dermatology, ENT and Psychiatry attended to the patients. Total 578 patients were examined. Medicines were given free of cost along with sugar, HIV and hepatitis tests. All other investigations were done at 50% concession. Free cataract surgeries were also arranged.

This camp had the cardio-thoracic surgeon, Dr.Narmata Gaur who examined patients and counseled them regarding heart diseases.Mr Manpreet Pahwa and family from Avon Cycles were also around along with officials Christian Medical College and Hospital were present.
