Ludhiana, August 21, 2016: Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Punjab Ludhiana organised free artificial limbs distribution camp at Viklang Sahayta Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana.
Artificial limbs, calipers, crutches, tricycle & hearing aid were given to 41 physically challenged persons. Camp was inaugurated by lighting a lamp by members of Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust.
On this occasion, Narinder Mittal, Secretary informed that Trust has organised 1103 camps in which artificial limbs, calipers, crutches, tricycle & hearing aids have been provided to more than 46,338 physically handicapped persons. He further said that the Trust has also organised polio surgery camps, in which 2309 polio operations have been done successfully. Trust has also organised nasha mukti camp & medical camp. The Trust is also running a policlinic on charitable rates in which patients are treated by allopathic, physiotherapy, acupressure, acupuncture, homeopathy & ayurveda.
R.K Walia, Anand Prakash Tiwari, Jaswinder Singh, Puranchand, Tripta, Narinder Kaur, Sapna, Kuldeep Kumar, Arvind Kumar, Members of Bharat Vikas Parishad were present on this occasion.
