Suman Gupta, Secretary, BVP Charitable Trust Punjab presided over the function
Ludhiana: Thirty physically challenged persons joined the FREE Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp On December 26 at Divyang Sahayata Kender Rishi Nagar Ludhiana. The Camp was jointly organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad Dr.Kitchlu Branch and Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Punjab. The Sponsor of the camp were Shri Vijay Kumar Bansal/Mrs. Neena Bansal and Family. The Bansal Family expressed their happiness in being associated with BVP-an organization rendering excellent services to mankind, with special reference to Divyang. They were very much impressed with the programmes and projects going on in the kender under the aegis of BVP. They assured their family’s support in future as well.
Mrs. Neelam Gupta, State President BVP Punjab West graced the occasion and gave very useful tips for social services being provided by BVP. Mrs. Aruna Puri, General Secretary, BVP Punjab West told that BVP is taking up several programmes like Drug-de-Addiction, Save Water Campaign, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, National Group Song Competition, Bharat ko Jano & Declamation contests on several National issues. These programmes/projects are aimed at the overall welfare and progress of our society.
Smt.Suman Gupta Secretary BVP Charitable Trust Punjab presided over the function. She told that the Trust has organized 1375 Camps through which more than 56981 physically handicapped persons have benefitted in various ways. Approximately 2781 operations have been done till date which were 100 per cent successful.
Dr. D.R.C Bakhetia, welcomed the dignitaries, Guests, beneficiaries and all others. Dr. J.R Kaushal proposed vote of thanks. Other members who helped in organizing this camp were, Er.
