Ludhiana, November 23, 2014: Four babies die during birth in local civil hospital this evening.
According to available information, four pregnant women hailing from different areas of the city arrived in the hospital for delivery. During birth the babies of these women die, following which the aggrieved family members resorted to protest by shouting slogans against the hospital staff and doctors. They opined that deliveries were done normally whereas these should have been done through cesarean.
On the other hand, the hospital doctors on being asked told the media persons that the pregnant women when arrived were in critical condition. Therefore, deliveries were done normally instead of cesarean.
