Fortis Hospital pledges for a better environment with Beautiful Begur

Bangalore, July 14,2018: Fortis Hospitals, Bangalore along with Begur residents took part in a community initiative “Beautiful Begur” to celebrate the 25th Silver Jubilee Week of “Swacch Begur” initiative which aims to maintain a clean and healthy city. This mega event took place in presence of Sri M Krishnappa (MLA-Bangalore South), Sri M Anjinappa(Corporator Ward:192) and Sri Ajay Dev(Kannada Film Star). Fortis Hospital being the Medical Partner for “Beautiful Begur” for continuous two years gave away 400 reusable bags to the Begur residents. The initiative will encourage people to say no to plastic by carrying their own bags to create a better environment. Beautiful Begur is a community initiative by the residents of Begur and neighbouring areas with around 20+ Resident Welfare Associations (RWA’s), coming together to achieve and make Begur a better place to live.
