Ford Goes Further in Punjab; Expands Sales and Service Footprint with 5 New Facilities In The Region

Ludhiana, November 19, 2014 – Growing closer to customers in the region, Ford India today augmented its sales and service network in Punjab with the inauguration of 5 new facilities.

Of the newly inaugurated facilities in Punjab, the company inaugurated a 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) Imperial Ford facility in Ludhiana.

Located at Ferozpur Road, Ludhiana, the new 3S facility will be spread across 20000 sq. ft. and offer Ford’s 2014 line up of smart, safe and class-leading fuel-efficient products along with a host of unique after-sales services.

Ford also launched its two new Extended Sales and Service outlets in Moga and Nawanshahr.

Bhagat Ford Extended Sales and Service outlet located at Grand Trunk Road (GT Road) in Moga will be spread over 14000 sq. ft. whereas the Bhagat Ford facility in Nawanshahr will be located at Chandigarh Road and spread over 10000 sq. ft.

These facilities put together will extend the reach of Ford’s world class products and services to new customers in the region.

Speaking on the expansion, Anurag Mehrotra, executive director, Marketing, Sales & Service, Ford India said, “It is one of our key priorities to make Ford brand more accessible to customers. With a footprint of 20 sales and service outlets in Punjab and with after-sales service initiatives like Quick Lane and Happy Pocket Service, we are making it convenient for customers to own and enjoy our great brand.”

Strengthening its network around Punjab and Chandigarh Tri-City, Ford also announced its new Quick Lane service facility in Chandigarh and a 3S outlet in Panchkula.

Spread over 9000 sq. ft., Saluja Ford Quick Lane located at Industrial Area II, Chandigarh will be the first such facility from Ford in Punjab. With its 6 service bays, the new Quick Lane will be able to service close to 36 Ford cars a day.

Quick Lane is a hassle-free and convenient service experience that significantly reduces waiting period during routine car maintenance. The facility in Chandigarh will be the sixth such outlet by Ford in the country.

The other newly opened outlet, Bhagat Ford 3S facility will be located at Phase II, Industrial Area, Panchkula.

Besides the network expansion, Ford’s superior engineering of long-lasting schedule maintenance parts will help in enhancing the ownership experience. All Ford service outlets continue to offer the company’s unique service packages including ‘Happy Pocket Service’.
